Established in 1998, Access Plus provide specialised powered access equipment for rental to Industrial and Construction organisations. They have a flexible and mobile workforce, who often work remotely at bases which are satellites of the main hub of operation.

Access Plus already had a Sage Payroll together with a Sage Line 50 accounting system. What they then required was a robust time and attendance system that would suit their working environment and link into their Sage payroll system. They also needed a system that could be extended to provide door entry control at a later date.

After reviewing various time and attendance systems, Access Plus decided on Tensor. "They simply ticked all the boxes " said George Marriott of Access Plus, "but more importantly, Tensor showed more care from the outset by demonstrating their WinTA system in front of us; which none of the competitors did".

A Tensor WinTA Lite Time & Attendance and Access Control system was installed in early 2007.

Access Plus undertook the installation themselves using telephone support from Tensor. "The installation was reasonably straight forwards," said George, "The system setup being more complex - but the support from Tensor was 1st class and any difficulties were remedied quickly and easily. Overall, we have had an outstanding level of service from Tensor," explained George to the Tensor reporter. "I am sure this is helped by having a support office right here in Scotland."

George also thought that the service from Tensor was good because all parts of the company work together as a team to help their customers. "We would have no hesitation in recommending Tensor to other Scottish company's looking for a Time & Attendance system," concluded George. "We have found them helpful, easy to deal with and reliable.
