12 years ago when the Elliott Group Ltd wanted a Time & Attendance system which would allow them to record and report employee timekeeping they looked at various systems on the market and decided to buy a WinTA system from Tensor. 

"At that time it was the best on the market' said Production Control Manager, Roger Allen. 'It was good value for money and it seemed very user friendly. Which it is!".

Tensor installed the system and provided training on-site. "After a good days training it easy to get the information you need from the system. The software is intuitive and I found that I use the clocking exceptions report most. We can distribute the report to the department managers, who decide whether or not an employee should be paid for absences and what hours that they have lost in the departments." explained Roger

Elliott Group Ltd have a 5 acre factory in Oxfordshire which produces modular buildings of all specifications and finish and Tensor marketing personnel decided to interview Roger Allen to see how he feels about Tensor after all this time.

'Tensor are 1st class and I would recommend their system to anyone' said Roger, who still seemed very happy with his Time & Attendance system. "The system is very user friendly, you can get the information you want instantly' 

"Its great for calculating wages and we have found that over the years the system has been very reliable. The only problem we did have with the system was due to the sometimes frequent power losses we suffer. This was easily solved with a battery back up for the system. Reliability of Tensor is about 99.9% " Roger told Tensor. 
Roger reckons "The system is not only good for looking individual employee attendance and absences but also the factory as a whole. We can instantly look at an individuals record for not only this year but also any previous years to see if there is any patterns to absence or timekeeping"
