Snowcap Mushrooms Ltd produces quality mushrooms for supermarkets and shops throughout the UK. They employ over 250 people between four sites at Yaxley, Great Bowden and Woodhurst.

In 2003, Snowcap were looking for a new Time & Attendance system to replace their existing Blick system which they were not happy with. Unfortunately, they were tied into a 10 year contract, but when they got a chance to get out of it, they did.

Fran Boome, Personnel Manager was in charge of finding a new system. She said, 'We wanted a system which would allow us to collate employee timekeeping information from all 4 sites and process it in one payroll system at our head office in Yaxley. We were very impressed the demonstration from Tensor. We had many questions, and they answered them all'

WinTA Enterprise and Tensor Personnel was installed in November 2003. Fran said 'We think Tensor is great. What we like most is; the software is user friendly, it's quick and easy to get reports, it has saved us a lot of time. Much of what the Tensor system does automatically we previously did manually as our system could not do it'

'Tensor manuals are excellent, especially compared with what we had before. At the moment I am learning Tensor Personnel using one.'

'We have used the Tensor helpdesk before and have found in general they are very helpful. They always get back to you, even if they can't answer our questions first time.'

In December 2003, Fran attended one of Tensor's training courses at Hail Weston and said 'the training was excellent. They taught us everything about the WinTA software. The only complaint we had was that our trainer, Richard, never made enough tea!!'
