NEW LOW-COST SMART CARD ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM FROM TENSOR Wed 17th April 2002
 
The T2002 is the answer to the prayers of all Tensor customers who want to extend the use of their Smart Card system to small depots or other sites where no computer is required.

The T2002 replaces the existing T2000 'stand alone' unit but with loads of features including tamper warning, 'door left open' warning, 'door forced' warning, push button timers control and other input/outputs.

Although designed primarily for those requiring Smart Card access control of 1 or 2 doors where the use of a PC is not required, transactions can be downloaded and uploaded from a personal computer or laptop. The T2002 uses Tensor's latest T1481 low-profile scanners, making the whole thing a very cosmetically appealing system.
