Help Desk Analyst
Description

The Tensor Help Desk is based at our offices in Hail Weston, Cambridgeshire where they provide our customers with technical support and advice in operating and administering both the Hardware and Software elements of the Time & Attendance, Access Control, Building Management and other products Tensor manufactures and installs.

This is a hands-on role where you answer our customers queries that come in typically by phone, email or via our support website. You will be expected to act upon these enquires and help the customer use the Tensor software, investigate the problems that they are having and analyse data. You will be expected to take ownership of customer problems and help them until the problem is solved.

You will receive full product training and you will need to keep your knowledge of our products at a high level. As such a good grounding in application and technical support would be beneficial as well as previous experience similar
experience. However, we are particularly keen to hear from newly qualified science and/or engineering graduates.

A good base level of technical experience in computer hardware, software or networks would be helpful for the successful candidate, as would previous exposure to Microsoft SQL.

Your initial training period is 6 weeks at our offices in Hail Weston where you will be expected to become very familiar with Tensor’s "Smart Card" and biometric based Time & Attendance and Access Control products as well as our energy management products.

Basic salary is £19,000 - £25,000 per year. (depending upon knowledge, ability and experience). A private pension is
available + EMI scheme is available after 2 years of employment. Free on-site parking.
