The FaceStation 2 is among the world’s most compact face recognition stations, offering very high matching speeds, accuracy, and level of security. With the addition of the thermal imaging camera to the FaceStation unit, When detecting a person with an elevated body temperature, the system can immediately block their access on-site (suspend their access rights) or not clock them in for work and notify the health and safety officers (or responsible people in the organisation), who can then proceed to act according to their respective company policies. This way by creating an extra requirement for entry to a facility, this reduces the risk of infection towards others and overall creates a safer work environment during a health crisis.
The Suprema FaceStation 2 with Temperature Detection combines a high-performance facial recognition time and attendance terminal (the FaceStation 2 Facial Recognition Terminal) with a thermal camera to detect users with elevated skin temperature.
The thermal camera connects via a USB interface making deployment quick and easy on any new and retrofit installs allowing for self-installation.
Using advanced facial recognition algorithms, the FaceStation 2 also minimises false readings, such as a person carrying a hot drink, the thermographic camera with 19,200 pixels per frame can ensure an accurate reading.
Suprema FaceStation 2 displays the temperature on the GUI so the user knows what their temperature is. The unit is also able to raise alerts when a higher than regular threshold temperature is detected.
