HR management system accommodates flexitimepublic sector staff contracts

This week has been a case of ‘mind the pay gap’ after it was revealed Tube drivers will get £50,000 per year. London Underground (LU) says a new four-year wage deal negotiated with union leaders meant the pay of train drivers, currently around £46,000, will go over the £50,000 mark. Under the deal, LU staff will get a 5 per cent pay increase this year followed by RPI inflation plus 0.5% in the ensuing three years.

Tensor’s WinTAnet Time & Attendance Management System combines the requirements of time and attendance, rostering and job costing, plus access control security. It can dramatically improve your HR management by supplying working rules to calculate the correct result. It contains special rules to accommodate the formal flexitime contracts worked by many public sector employees. WinTAnet will predict the most appropriate shift depending on when an employee starts work. Each type of pattern can be set up to override the normal pattern and use a specific shift on public holidays.
