More than one-third of UK organisations are considering redundancies or job shedding in 2013, a survey has found. This was a higher percentage than any other country in Europe except Greece, found the study by human resources consultancy Aon Hewitt. Of these organisations thinking about reducing headcount, 62 per cent were employing people in service-based industries, the survey revealed. In all, the study encompassed 255 businesses or organisations in the UK as part of a European-wide report.
