A £250 reward is offered for information leading to a successful prosecution of cruel thieves who stole children’s artworks. The pupils made up the special mosaics as part of a special community history project. Martin Taylor-Cockayne, the chairman of the crestfallen community group in Nottinghamshire, said the size of the items means the crime must have been pre-planned. “They couldn’t have possibly been taken by an opportunist thief,” he commented. “They went to a lot of trouble.”
