The £36m contract to convert and refurbish the historic Triton Court block on Finsbury Square, near Moorgate tube station, was won by Uxbridge-based Galliford Try. The building's owners, Resolution Property, plans to create approximately 220,000 sq ft of office space for creative, media and technology businesses, while a further 22,000 sq ft will be set aside for restaurants and retail outlets.

Greg Fitzgerald, chief executive at Galliford Try, said: "We are delighted to have been selected by Resolution for such as prestigious scheme in central London. This success quickly follows our recently announced contract awards across the South East, and further cements our reputation as a contractor of choice in that commercial market."
