Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 Compliance for Stadiums

The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, also known as Martyn's Law, aims to strengthen security requirements for qualifying public venues including stadiums and sports grounds.

Venues expecting 200-799 people fall under the standard tier, while those expecting 800 or more fall under the enhanced tier. Both tiers must implement appropriate public protection procedures, including evacuation, invacuation, lockdown and communication, but enhanced tier venues must also implement measures to monitor activity, control movement and strengthen physical security.
