The Bank of England says bonus rules for bankers should be tougher and be geared towards the long term. The Bank of England’s financial stability director Andy Haldane said City bonuses should be deferred for five to 10 years to avert short-term risk taking. Yesterday he informed the Banking Standards Commission: “We had roughly a 20-year boom in the run-up to the crisis, so measuring performance only over a three to five-year window is far too short.”

Your bank, company, factory or office can retain a tight leash on how and when colleagues are paid thanks to a Tensor Time and Attendance network. Payroll, shifts, hours, overtime and bonuses are all handled by the IP enabled WinTA system. The system allows you to create a series of shift premium rules that enable employees to earn bonus payments under special circumstances. The bonus is calculated either as extra hours or monetary amounts and can be included in the export to payroll.
