The car firm Toyota has announced more closures and non-production days throughout May due to a prolonged shortage of parts. Mondays will be used as more non-production days in May and volume will be reduced on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Last week, Toyota, announced that its factories in the Midlands and North Wales would have a non-production day. Both sites also shut down for the three days up to the royal wedding public holiday tomorrow (Friday, April 29).
