Residents have clamoured for temporary toilets to be brought in to Edinburgh's biggest park, which is served by only one set of public toilets, because demand is outstripping the facilities’ capacity to cope. There is only one set of public toilets available to users of The Meadows, which is at least a ten-minute walk away from some parts of the park and the recent hot spells have shown current provision to be inadequate.
Speedy coin operated turnstiles help to pay for toilet maintenance costs
Tensor coin operated toilet turnstiles are perfect for public toilets as they offer improved security and extend flow capacity. They can be installed to cope with frequent use and with all denominations of coins while helping to pay for maintenance costs. Without compromising the safety of those who use the turnstile, speed and reliability are provided even during rush hour periods. Available as a double half height turnstile, your throughput can be doubled whilst keeping the amount of space down to a minimum. Tensor's turnstiles fully integrate with our smart card and biometric access control systems.
