Tensor offers extensive range of access control solutions for technical centres
Any R&D-focused technical centre requires a very solid, reliable and secure access control, given the highly sensitive nature of the activities carried out within (after all, protecting trade secrets is an extremely important issue nowadays, due to fierce market competition and economic espionage). And this is exactly where Tensor plc comes into play, given our extensive level of experience in the field of access control and time and attendance solutions.
That’s also the case with Helical Technology, a manufacturing business which makes engine and exhaust components for global vehicle brands, which has opened a new multimillion-pound technical centre in Lancashire, according to a news source.
The company, which employs around 175 staff and boasts global sales of £40m, designs and manufactures actuators for turbochargers and valve rotators for large diesel and gas engines. Its new purpose-built ‘Warton Technical Centre’ comprises an 18,300 sq ft test area, a 37,675 sq ft prototype and manufacturing workshop, a drive-by noise test track and two-storey office facility.
