Modern time and attendance and access control solutions rely largely on the use of smart cards for faster, streamlined operation, and Tensor offers a very comprehensive series of solutions targeting specifically this market segment.

The Tensor smart card readers are designed to deliver fast operation, a very good functioning range, as well as a great level of security. Moreover, they're compatible with all of Tensor's latest-generation smart access cards.

The T1488 smart card reader supports the 37bit Tensor format proximity cards and is capable of easily sending and receiving data to and from host using RS485 interface. It also offers comes equipped with LED activity indicators and is available in a variety of colours, designed to match the customer's specific décor.

Next in line comes the T149x Slim mullion model, designed for access control and time and attendance solutions where the aesthetic aspect is also very important. This model works very well with128 bit Contactless Identification cards and will easily connect to the T8526 series controller products.

Last, but certainly not least, comes the T159x, also designed to work with 128 bit Contactless Identification cards, but featuring a slimmer profile (just 75mm x 75mm x 25mm). A visual (LED) status/activity indication system is also available on this model as well.
