The company previously let 10,500 sq ft at the Amber Business Centre near Alfreton and has now taken on a 25,200 sq ft unit at the same estate. Plus, Seat Design is also investing more than £100,000 in equipment to further increase its manufacturing capability and plans to add another £100,000 worth of kit in the future.

Director and company founder Tim Walker stated that: "This move is a really big moment for us. We've worked hard over the last ten years to establish a strong reputation as a specialist seat designer with low volume manufacture capability, and it's really paying off. We've just won new contracts in the automotive, rail and medical sectors, hence why we need more space."
