Workforce analytics could drive improved business performance if properly prioritized
Workforce analytics tools could help organizations drive improved business performance, but, unfortunately, they’re currently quite low on the business and HR leaders’ scale of priorities, recent research has been able to find.
The survey by Fairsail found that four in 10 (38%) senior business and HR leaders have little, basic or no knowledge of workforce analytics, while only 13% of leaders were very confident that their teams understood workforce analytics to a degree to which it could help the business grow, while more than 42% were not confident in this.
Poll results also found that only 14% of business and HR leaders use workforce analytics to make strategic decisions, with 69% restricting this to basic operational insights and reporting. Furthermore, 41% of respondents reckon that workforce analytics are increasingly critical to a business’s success, and 43% think they are important already.
Just around 6% of business and HR leaders reported being very satisfied with the analytics tools currently available to them, while 41% claimed to be dissatisfied, and a further 8% had no analytics capability at all.
