With the HSCAN Hand Scanner Terminal Series, there are no cards to create, administer, carry – or lose, since each unit will identities in less than one second, based on the unique size of their hands.

Hand Geometry Biometric Technology

The HSCAN Hand Scanner Terminal Series is built around the concept of hand geometry biometric technology. The terminal captures an image of the hand each time the employee punches. The hand’s size and the shape are used to verify their identity with unparalleled accuracy. No finger or palm prints are utilized. The technology works well indoor as well as in harsh environments.

3 - Biometric Fingerprint Reader

Housed in an elegant case and easy to use, the Tensor T34xx Series Biometric Fingerprint Reader has been designed to meet the requirements of those who want the absolute peace-of-mind, certainty and the assurance that the person to be identified is physically present at the time of identification.

The reader is designed for use as an extra Time & Attendance point or access control point capable of reading Tensor Cards. NCP 109 door release classification is Class III. It is compatible with Tensor’s Proximity Card Access Control Readers, allowing you to mix fingerprint reading and non-fingerprint reading scanners on the same security network.

The fingerprint scanning window is a thick, heavy duty glass that resists scratches and other stress to ensure long term usage. Once registered on the fingerprint scanner, the image of the patterns usually found on one's fingertips is converted into a code through a secure algorithm, which is then stored on a database for future comparison and authentication.

Whenever registered users have their fingerprints scanned, a comparison is made between the live fingerprint and the stored fingerprint template and if the two match, the event is saved in Time and Attendance controller database.
