Hand Scanner Terminals
Time, attendance and access control scanner for businesses
The HSCAN3000 Hand Scanner Terminal provides the accuracy and convenience of biometric technology.
In operations from coal mines to clean rooms, the system has proven to be a practical and precise solution. There are no cards to create, administer, carry or lose. The HSCAN3000 verifies employee identities in less than one second, based on the unique size of their hands.
HSCAN3000 clearly notifies each user of a match using red and green indicator lights. As no one can punch in or out for your employees, the system reduces time theft and improves payroll accuracy.
The HSCAN3000 Hand Scanner Terminal offers optional Ethernet connectivity and multiple memory upgrades to grow with your company’s needs. In addition, it also includes:
- Edit-at-the-clock functions
- Bell schedules
- Door control
- The ability to connect multiple units at a single site
When you want to cut time and attendance costs, do it by hand.
Hand geometry technology in the hand scanner terminal
The HSCAN3000 uses field-proven hand geometry biometric technology. The terminal captures a three-dimensional image of the hand each time the employee punches. The hand’s size and shape are used to verify their identity with unparalleled accuracy. No fingerprints or palm prints are utilised. Green and red lights notify the employee of the status of each punch. There’s no question anymore; employees have to be there to punch.
The HSCAN3000, designed for larger networked installations, allows multiple units to be connected at a site via Ethernet 10 Base-T (TCP/IP).
The bell schedule lets you program the day, time, and duration of a series of bells. The bells can be programmed to signal the beginning or end of a shift, lunch, or break.
The HSCAN3000 Hand Scanner Terminal provides the capability to unlock and monitor a door. Global time zones may be used to restrict employee access.
