The study of 270 small business owners on Workplace Flexibility revealed that numerous firms, regardless of their size and scope, have quite a hard time finding employees with a suitable set of skills for the positions they advertise, which is an especially worrying situation, given the fact that close to 50% of companies plan to hire new staff members over the next year or so.

Nevertheless, sixty-four percent of small-business owners revealed that allowing flexible, mobile, and remote work options has helped them retain their top employees.
