On 10th July, the Friends of Priory Junior School (FOPJS) organised a Colour Run and BBQ to raise funds for the school. Tensor was proud to be one of the local companies sponsoring the event, which raised over £3,200 for additional resources and activities.
As part of our sponsorship, we contributed to one of the colour stations, where pupils and teachers were showered with brightly coloured corn-starch powder as they completed their lap around the school field.
FOPJS Treasurer Luci Humphreys said: "The support from Tensor helped us create a truly memorable day for the children. Seeing the joy on their faces as they crossed the finish line was wonderful, and we couldn't have done it without local businesses like yours getting behind us."
Supporting local schools and community initiatives is an important part of Tensor's commitment to giving back to the community where we live and work. We are delighted to have played a small part in the event and congratulate the Friends of Priory Junior School on raising such a significant amount.
We hope the funds raised will provide even more opportunities, resources and experiences for the pupils, and we look forward to seeing how else we can support the community.
