Around 500 people work within the group with 300 at the Far Cotton site.

Bute Fabrics designs and produces high quality contemporary upholstery fabrics in the Isle of Bute, Scotland. The fabrics are mainly used in the furniture and leisure industry. In 2007, Iain Cameron, their Company Accountant was looking to replace their dated and problematic clock card system which was made by Blick. The group employs around 400 personnel and 4 months ago Systems Manager, Ian Delom, was in search of a Time & Attendance system to remove the delays involved with their manual clock card system. He also wanted to make the section leaders job a lot easier by providing up-to-date information.

Mondi Packaging is one of Europe’s largest integrated packaging manufacturers. They make a full range of corrugated and paper products including point of purchase displays.  When the management of the Mondi factory in March, Cambridgeshire wanted to replace their existing manual clock card system with a computerised one, they reviewed the various systems available. In particular, they wanted a system that was also an Access Control system capable of handling Fire Roll Call reporting.

Essilor is the worlds largest manufacturer of spectacle lenses. Essilor has had a presence in Britain since 1881 when Société des Lunetiers opened it’s British operation in Hatton Garden, London. It maintained a presence in the city until 1975 when the company moved its offices and production facilities to Thornbury, near Bristol. The group employs 23,000 personnel world-wide, with around 400 people employed at Thornbury.
