Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Install Tensor Security
Derbyshire Fire & Rescue needed a simple “non computerised” access control system for their new command centre in Derby, but at the same time they wanted it to use the latest technology. After reviewing several different types of system they chose the T2002 from Tensor. “The Tensor T2002 was the easiest-to-use system we came across.” said Steve Holt-Garner, Information Servce Manager for Derbyshire Fire & Rescue. “It’s fast, reliable and requires no PC’s to run it, and very little maintenance.”

Bearward Engineering Ltd is based on a 6,000 square metre site at Main Road, Far Cotton, Northampton England where it is a major supplier to the world generating set market. It is also a significant supplier of radiators for pumping and construction equipment, off highway, rail traction and other specialist equipment. Around 500 people work within the group with 300 at the Far Cotton site.

Bute Fabrics designs and produces high quality contemporary upholstery fabrics in the Isle of Bute, Scotland. The fabrics are mainly used in the furniture and leisure industry. In 2007, Iain Cameron, their Company Accountant was looking to replace their dated and problematic clock card system which was made by Blick. Iain’s objectives were to have a system that would simplify the payroll system, and something which would save money and time if possible (e.g.
