Waste disposal seeks Tensor help
Coventry and Solihull Waste Disposal Company is owned by Coventry City and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Councils. Over 70 Operational and Administrative staff are employed at the Bar Road plant, which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Located less than one mile from the city centre the plant comprises of a new Public Waste Recycling and Disposal Facility and a state of the art Energy From Waste Plant. The busy site recycles as much as possible and generates over 17 megawatts per hour of electricity as well as space heating for a local factory.
Hallmark of success
Hallmark Consumer Services, based in Melton Mowbray in the heart of Leicestershire, is a private company, has a 25,000 sq. ft modern racked warehouse, call centre and office facilities all coordinated from one site. The factory employs around 50 office and warehouse staff at this site. “The warehouse staff are paid weekly and the office and call staff are paid monthly. Originally the warehouse staff completed manual timesheets which were processed weekly. Very labour intensive!” Said Philip Hall.
The Jolly Hotel is one of the most elegant hotels in London and when their managing director wanted a similar staff management system to the one he had previously in his New York hotel, the Jolly Hotel decided on Tensor. The hotel has 12 departments, several different shift patterns and 150 employees. They required a system where management could quickly and easily check employee timekeeping and absences.

The Paragon Hotel, situated in Earls Court, London, chose a Tensor Smart Card access control system when they wanted to bolster security on their staff entrance.
Océ install Tensor
Océ have installed a Tensor Access Control and Time & Attendance system at their new prestigious UK head office in Brentwood, Essex. The new HQ houses around 250 employees including head office personnel and sales who service the 8 other Océ sites around the country. Personnel Director, Graham Dowling, was in charge of finding a system which would not only control access throughout their head office but would also record employee timekeeping.
Valspar Safeclean Headquarters
Safeclean part of the multinational Valspar Corporation with a 2.25 billion turnover and 8,000 staff worldwide wanted a system for the Time and Attendance and access control for their modern headquarters in Abingdon near Oxford which has around 70 employees.
Tensor stands the test of time
12 years ago when the Elliott Group Ltd wanted a Time & Attendance system which would allow them to record and report employee timekeeping they looked at various systems on the market and decided to buy a WinTA system from Tensor. "”At that time it was the best on the market” said Production Control Manager, Roger Allen. “It was good value for money and it seemed very user friendly. Which it is!”".

Freundenberg Simrit install Tensor
Freudenberg Simrit LP, part of the Global Freudenberg Manufacturing Group has installed a Tensor Smart Card Time & Attendance and Access Control System at their service centre in Lutterworth, Leicestershire. The site in Lutterworth is responsible for UK sales and logistics. “We needed a simple-to-use computerised system that would fully handle the EEC Working Time Directive and control the access to our external/internal doors for our new premises,” said David Brown, Freudenberg Simrit’s Managing Director.
