At the beginning of 2020 during the first announcements of Covid-19 in the UK, Sadie Richardson, the IT Manager at Cambridge Vacuum Engineering, led a project to install a Time and Attendance System to better manage staff working hours, as well as an Access Control System to enhance site security.

With over 500 personnel working across 3 sites, from St Albans, which is their Head Office, to Nottingham and Glasgow. XMA tasked their Network & Infrastructure Manager, Rikki Auluk, to improve and tighten their security measures across all three sites. XMA had already installed a Tensor Access Control System at the St Albans site over 10 years ago, so Mr. Auluk wanted to extend this across all sites.

A staple of the highstreets for over 100 years, Shoe Zone has over 400 stores in different towns and cities throughout the UK. Their head office, situated in Leicester, employs 300 people and is looked after by property manager, Steven Chater. Our reporter recently caught up with Steven to share his experiences with the Tensor systems.
