Tensor Security Indonesia (TSI) leverages huge experience in cutting-edge biometric technologies for further growth

TSI Visit

We have spent a fantastic few days working in the Jakarta offices where there are now 70 people, covering many areas including sales, technical support, software development, project management and training.

Tensor Security Indonesia (TSI) continues to develop and deploy cutting-edge biometric solutions for law enforcement and is migrating some of these technologies across to the financial sector. This visit was spent discussing new products and further deliveries of our facial recognition systems including the portable ones.

The new PortaFACE demonstration system was also delivered to TSI which was tested ready for field trials with law enforcement agencies. We are also setting up a facial recognition demonstration for a trade show being held next week in Jakarta with a further invitation to demonstrate Tensor’s products at the Interpol World trade show from 2nd – 4th July 2019 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo Centre, Singapore.

The team at TSI agreed the design for a new end-to-end, biometric tactical law enforcement system which we will announce in the coming months. Our colleagues at TSI also assisted Tensor plc’s R & D teams in the UK with the technical requirements for Tensor’s new generation of biometrics technologies to be used in both our Time & Attendance and Access Control products from late 2019.

The huge experience of the team at TSI relating to these cutting-edge biometric technologies has & continues to greatly assist the UK R & D teams in the development of our new products to ensure we utilise proven technologies and that the products are market leading.

The team in Jakarta continues to provide a truly world class design, delivery and support service which has resulted in repeat orders from major law enforcement organisations and TSI becoming a trusted supplier in Indonesia.

As ever, very sad to leave everyone at TSI who are so welcoming and have a continual supply of satay ayam (peanut satay) for lunch in the office. We are expecting a very senior delegation from the Indonesian National Police with TSI’s Directors to visit Tensor in the UK over the next few months, so we can return the favour!
