Tensor plc, the UK based, award winning market leader in the design, manufacture and installation of security, access control, attendance monitoring and energy management/monitoring solutions, would like to welcome you at the Security & Policing Home Office Event 2018, in Farnborough, Hampshire, at stand E49, where we’ll exhibit our latest products, solutions and services in the field of security and access control between the 6-8’th of March 2018.

Security & Policing provides a platform for professionals from the UK and across the world to engage with the very highest level of security expertise and the latest technology. It provides the level of industry engagement needed to enable UK Government to procure and deliver its national security priorities.

Established over 30 years ago and having a global influence, this Home Office event is the corner-stone of the security calendar and is the only ‘closed’ event of its kind.

It is the premier platform for relevant UK suppliers to showcase the very latest equipment, training and support, to police services, Government departments, organisations and agencies from the UK and overseas. A key focus is to demonstrate the opportunities presented by innovative cutting edge technology.

Building on past successes, the 2018 event will continue to offer a wide range of carefully planned initiatives, with some new and exciting elements.

For the first time the event will take place in an exciting new venue; the new ‘Hall 1’, a conference and exhibition centre facility spanning two floors that’s both vast and flexible space.

Security & Policing will present a brand new live immersive feature in 2018 with a focus on Border Security. Working closely with Border Force the feature will present a multi –modal transport hub. This feature will showcase the very latest technologies for foot passenger and vehicle terminals, and those which address the challenge of individual passenger mass screening at ports around the world.

The Home Office is committed to working with partners in industry and academia to develop and collaborate on the products and services needed to cut crime, prevent terrorism, detect illegal immigration and promote growth. Being able to share needs whilst gaining a better understanding of the capabilities available is a critical part of this initiative.

A unique three day environment is created annually, at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre, incorporating an extensive exhibition, live demonstrations, briefings and immersive experiences.
